The St Katharine Greek Orthodox Church of St Catharines and District is the sole Greek Orthodox Church congregation for the Region of Niagara. The Greek Community of Niagara (GCN) is the cultural arm of the church and serves to:

  • Maintain the language and cultural heritage of its members as well as to promote Greek Orthodox religion and culture to the Niagara Community at large.
  • Participate in a variety of community events and programs including but not limited to Niagara Folk Arts, Out of the Cold, etc.
  • Hosts the annual Niagara Greek Festival and also Greek Open House as part of the Niagara Folk Arts Festival.
  • Offers Greek language classes supported by the DSBN as well as Greek dancing lessons for all ages.

All are welcome to our events and religious services, however, only persons baptized as Greek Orthodox are eligible to participate in Greek Orthodox Church sacraments.

Weekdays: Orthros (Matins): 8:00 AM | Divine Liturgy: 9:00 AM
